The one question I always ask is why there are no demonstrations against China rounding up Muslim people in Xinjang? Why were you not protesting against the west bombing Syrian cities to destroy ISIS? It’s because of those pesky Jews. Why wouldn’t the Jews just stand there and let themselves be killed as they always did. Now tell me it’s not antisemitism but just a disagreement with the Netanyahu regime. Imagine you lived in a country where you got rockets sent to kill you on a regular basis. What would you require your government to do about it?
I listened to Rory Stewart on the Rest is Politics podcast. He is in Oz at the moment. He made a clever observation that perhaps the Australian relationship to democracy is supported by our strong border policy. Furthermore democracies around the world going up against far right parties all have problems with immigration. His point wasn’t to vilify immigration. But to discuss that lawful immigration is preferable to boats and boots coming across the boarders.
Seems sort of obvious, doesn’t it. The idea that a national community should be excluded from decision-making around rates and sources of immigration into their national community is fundamentally undemocratic.
Loved the livestream format and looking forward to more of that from our guy. Now if we can just help everybody in the comments absorb and get past Josh’s handsomeness and focus on the actual words coming out of his handsome mouth haha

It was good stuff, Josh. Keep up the good work.
I only heard the recording.
Why does Moynihan have a lisp?
For the commenters -- next time, how about just listen, guys. All you made them do is repeat themselves.
