I’m so happy and proud to be one of the few brilliant people who started paying you before we had to, because beauty is to be celebrated and appreciated. Carry on.
I think your point about the nature of the offence is interesting, I'd never thought about that angle. My biggest issue with roads and traffic offences is that the penalties are not means tested. A 500 dollar fine for you means something very different for many. Effectively, the poorer you are, the greater the punishment.
