Tom does the classic leftist thing of saying 'why can't free marketers point to a free market utopia?' They fail to understand that not everyone believes utopia is possible. The free market system is simply the least bad way to organize a society and economy. All systems will have faults.
Just want to point out that the brain is part of the human body; it's not an either/or kind of thing. And the reasons people get dementia in old age relate to the body as a whole; cardiovascular conditions, toxins, etc. etc.
